Geoff has been a flight instructor in Northern California and the San Francisco Bay Area for more than ten years. He has provided instruction for the following pilot certificates and ratings: Sport Pilot, Private Pilot, Commercial Pilot, Instrument Rating, Multi-Engine Rating and Flight Instructor.
Geoff taught for several years at the Japan Airlines Flight Crew Training Center in Napa Valley, CA and provides instruction in the following aircraft: Cessna 162 Skycatcher, CSA SportCruiser, Cessna 172 Skyhawk, Beech A36 Bonanza, Beech BE76 Duchess, the Beech BE58 Baron, and others.
Geoff is a graduate of the Rhode Island School of Design (RISD) and holds a BFA in Graphic Design. He has a strong interest in User Experience / User Interface Design, especially as it relates to ‘Glass Cockpit’ flight displays.
Geoff’s hobbies include trail hiking in the mountains around the San Francisco Bay area.
Mara is originally from Oregon, has a Masters in Aero/Astro Engineering from Stanford University and a Bachelors in Engineering Physics from Embry Riddle Aeronautical University in Florida. She was a flight instructor at Embry-Riddle for several years before moving to the Bay Area for grad school.
She has been teaching students in the San Francisco Bay Area since 2007, specializing in teaching students of all ages. She has taught people from as young as 12 to as old at 75. She holds certifications as a CFI, CFII and has been flying since 2000.
Mara’s hobbies include: surfing, long distance running, paragliding, skydiving, backpacking, traveling, and any other adventure she can find time to try. She enjoys spending as much time as possible in the air & outdoors.

Luis graduated from Embry Riddle Aeronautical University. He is an Airline Pilot who flies for a major US Airline with routes in 41 states
Luis graduated from Embry Riddle Aeronautical University. He is an Airline Pilot who flies for a major US Airline with routes in 41 states. And he has also teaches students to learn to fly. Since 2008 he has accumulated more than 3,500 hours of flight instruction.
For Luis, one of the best parts of being a Flight Instructor is that it allows him to share his passion for aviation with others, while helping them achieve their dreams to learn to fly. He has an upbeat and patient teaching style, as well as a consistent record of being able to have his students successfully pass their FAA Pilot Tests for the Sport Pilot License, Private Pilot Certification, Commercial Pilot Certification and Instrument Rating.
While not flying, he enjoys running, bike riding and time with his family.

Originally from Singapore, Sharon made the 10,000 mile journey to Sanford Florida in 2019. Where she pursued training as a professional pilot.

Prior to embarking on her aviation journey, Sharon served 6 years in the Singapore Military as an Officer. She holds a Bachelor of Accountancy Cum Laude from Singapore Management University.
After graduation Sharon moved to the San Francisco Bay Area . She is passionate and driven to share her knowledge of aviation. And help others discover their wings. She believes in creating a safe and engaging learning experience. Sharon inspires students’ confidence and competence in flying.
Outside of aviation, Sharon can be found running along the parks in the Bay Area. She engages in an array of outdoor activities. She loves to spend time with her family and friends.
Andrew started flying in 2012. As a Flight Instructor, he taught flying in the complex airspace around Washington DC for 3 years.
Before his days as a Flight Instructor, Andrew served as a staffer on Capitol Hill. He worked on aviation safety initiatives and aviation policies. Andrew takes pride in having been instrumental in drafting policies that support General Aviation. He also spent considerable time analyzing complex Federal Aviation Administration regulations. And translating them into plain English, for Members of Congress to understand. Andrew enjoys assisting students in a similar way, when he teaches them to learn to fly. Andrew is also an Airline Pilot, and flies for a large US Regional Airline.
Andrew graduated from the Virginia Military Institute, where he competed on the cross country, track and field teams. He enjoys running, biking, and in general, taking advantage of the beautiful California weather!
He has been a Commercial Pilot and Flight Instructor since 1993.
Kevin has a background in economics from Santa Clara University and he was born and raised in the San Francisco Bay Area.
Kevin enjoys running, hiking, golf and spending time with his family.

Matthew has a comprehensive and detailed knowledge of airplanes, aerodynamics, airplane systems, airplane performance, and modern aircraft computers.
Matthew was born in Denver, Colorado and grew up in Arkansas. He was a Flight Instructor at a Flight Training Academy in New Smyrna Beach, Florida where he trained pilots to become Professional Airline Pilots.
He has a comprehensive and detailed knowledge of airplanes, aerodynamics, airplane systems, airplane performance, and modern aircraft computers. He teaches both older airplane navigation techniques, as well as newer airplane navigation techniques that require modern computers. He is well versed in the latest flight instruction techniques and knows how to make the academics and the flying skills he teaches relevant, clear and fun.
Matthew loves teaching to fly. And believes, that with good flying lesson planning, and carefully chosen sequences of theoretical and practical flight scenarios, flight training and obtaining a Pilot License can be a very rewarding and fun experience.

Scott graduated from San Jose State University with a degree in Aeronautics. He became an FAA Certified Flight Instructor, and an Airline Transport rated pilot, in 1990.
Scott graduated from San Jose State University with a degree in Aeronautics. He continued to acquire further aerospace experience and education by working as a contractor at NASA Ames Research Center, developing software for aircraft and spacecraft.
Scott learned to fly in 1985 with the Flying Aces Club, which offered flight training to students of the San Jose State University Aeronautics Department. He became an FAA Certified Flight Instructor, and an Airline Transport rated pilot, in 1990.
When he’s not flying or developing software, he enjoys playing video games and golf.

She is a Cessna Factory Trained Instructor and a Cirrus Standardized Instructor Pilot.
Tara graduated from Stanford University with a degree in Psychology and a background in human behavior.
Tara has been flying since 1985, and flight instructing since 1991.
Tara specializes in patience and listening to her students. She has successfully taught many foreign students, women and CEO’s to fly.
When not flying, Tara loves to run up the local mountains, backpack with her family and read!
