We ♥ Flying

The Stanford Flying Club has hundreds of Alumni. Membership and the possibility to learn to fly is open to the public. The atmosphere is collegiate and relaxed.

Our Flying Club Alumni are diverse. They include the general public, and Stanford Students & Faculty. They come from a variety of backgrounds and ethnicities. We are all interested in education, flight training, and general aviation.

• We can assist you with obtaining a plane for your flight training, as well as owning your own airplane. We can show you how you can offset its costs with financial and tax-benefits, through renting out your airplane for flight training or other purposes.
• Membership gives you access to an insurance program that meets or exceeds state standards and covers all aircraft.

• Our Members are rightfully proud of the Club’s safety record, which is the best of any club or school in the greater SF Bay Area. No Member was ever injured in a Club associated plane.
