The US Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) requires no minimum number of hours of Flight Time to obtain a Solo Pilot License. But it has specified the knowledge, maneuvers, and procedures you must learn to become a safe and competent pilot

Flight Training at Night is optional if you want a Sport Pilot License, but some night flying is required for Private Pilot Certification
The Sport Pilot flight experience requirements have been met or exceeded at this stage. With a Sport Pilot Certification test completed, you can fly with 1 passenger during the day. The US Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) requires at least 20 hours of flight time, for a Sport Pilot License. All Flight hours flown for the Solo Pilot License can count towards this. But if you want to pilot a plane with more than 1 passenger, or at night, you can obtain a Private Pilot certificate
The cost for this stage may range between $6,100 and $11,200
There is no age requirement to begin flight training for your Private Pilot License. But, you must complete at least your Solo Pilot License (sm), before your Private Pilot License. Private Pilots can fly during the Day, or at Night, and carry more than 1 passenger
The US Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) requires a minimum of 40 flight hours for Private Pilot License certification. All previous hours you’ve already accrued piloting a plane apply towards this license
According to license completion statistics from Cessna Aircraft Company, people using their Integrated Flight Training system, can on average, complete their Pilot License with up to 26% fewer flight hours than the national average.
The range of cost can vary because not everyone learns the same way or at the same pace. The type of plane used, as well as the varying cost of fuel, can influence the total costs.

Instrument Flight Rating
SFC can help you obtain your Instrument Flight Rating flight-training (known as the “IFR Rating”). This follows the Private Pilot’s License training. With an Instrument Rating you will be able to take off in “zero visibility” and fly through clouds

Commercial Pilot
This certification is for those pilots who want to carry passengers or freight for hire. Details about FAA requirements are available from the Club
The requirements include 10 hours of flight time in a “complex aircraft”. Credits from prior flight experience can be used
